But;
“ An Artisan is a skilled craft worker who makes or creates things by hand that may be functional or strictly decorative, for example furniture, cabinetry, etc. Artisans practice a craft and may through experience and aptitude reach the expressive levels of an artist.
Woodwork is the activity or skill of making items from wood, and includes cabinet making, Cabinetry and Furniture, wood shaping and carving, joinery, and carpentry.”

As a ‘Woodwork Artisan,’ my definition is unique just like the pieces I build. Woodwork is not called ‘woodplay’ for a reason; there is a lot of wood and a lot of work involved. I think an artisan is a highly skilled and dedicated craftsperson who brings an artistic and visionary element to the process.
I use my 16 plus years of woodworking experience and design skills to handcraft bespoke heirloom quality cabinetry, furniture and built-ins for specific functional and decorative purposes. All of my cabinetry and furniture projects are ultimately creative and one of a kind.
“Due to the differences in artistic elements, inherent to all distinctive projects, including shape, color, and texture, I appreciate the challenges involved with each build and hope to bring an intrinsic and artistic value to each one. Custom cabinetry, furniture and built-ins have become a passion of mine and I look forward to the mystery of the next project.”
